Omniture Will Present Strategies for Increasing Search Conversion at SES San Jose in August

OREM, Utah - Aug. 4, 2009 - Omniture, Inc. (NASDAQ: OMTR), a leading provider of online business optimization software, today announced that it will participate as a premier plus sponsor, speaker and exhibitor at the 2009 Search Engine Strategies San Jose Conference to be held August 11-14.  Omniture will participate on several panels during the event and will host a sponsored workshop with CreditCards.com highlighting search campaign optimization alongside online and offline marketing initiatives.

Since 1999, Search Engine Strategies has been a leading international conference series for webmasters, digital agencies, online marketers and corporate decision makers. SES San Jose offers more than 70 sessions on industry topics such as PPC management, keyword research, SEO, social media, local search, mobile search and video optimization. The event also offers high-level keynotes and an expo floor showcasing more than 100 companies. SES San Jose is organized by the SES Advisory Board and SearchEngineWatch.com, a leading authority on search engine marketing.

Ron Belanger, vice president of worldwide agency sales for Omniture, will participate in a Search and Measurement panel on Tuesday, August 11 at 11:45 a.m. entitled, "Creating a Web Analytics Culture." Belanger will discuss various marketing methodologies that can foster a measurement-based culture that focuses on actionable insights to improve conversion and ROI for marketing spend. Chris Zaharias, vice president of SearchCenter sales for Omniture, will participate in an Advanced PPC panel on Thursday, August 13 at 3:45 p.m. entitled, "Brainstorming the Paid Search Super Tool." Zaharias will discuss the latest features across Omniture SearchCenter and Omniture's Online Marketing Suite that provide search marketers with greater campaign workflow efficiencies.

Omniture will also sponsor a workshop on Wednesday, August 12 at 2:30 p.m. entitled, "Are You Leaving Cash on the Table? Measuring SEM across all of Your Marketing Channels."  Zaharias will be joined by CreditCards.com for an interactive session exploring how SEM campaigns should be measured and managed in a broader context that includes other channels such as organic search and offline sales. CreditCards.com will share insights from a recently completed case study with Omniture that describes how the company utilized Omniture SearchCenter to optimize keyword bids based on actual profit from closed leads.
