Educational Program Expands to a New Continent; First European University to Incorporate

Omniture into Core Curriculum

 

London, UK — Dec. 1, 2009 Omniture, an Adobe company (NASDAQ: ADBE) and a leading provider of online business optimization software, today announced that Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona has become the first European university to join the Omniture Academic Initiative (OAI).   The university will incorporate instruction on Omniture’s product suite into the core curriculum for its newly developed Master in Web: Communication, Marketing and Business program.

 

The OAI program includes some of the leading U.S. business, marketing and marketing communications schools including Brigham Young University, New York University, Northwestern University, the University of Southern California, and the University of Utah. The initiative provides training materials and certification testing for the universities’ graduate business and marketing school curricula. By incorporating Omniture training into professor-led lectures and course work, students will be better prepared with the cutting-edge online marketing skills and experience desired by today’s employers.
